Director Puri Jagannadh seems to have woken up from a slumber of sorts and he is working full-on with his directorial ventures. While many were wondering why this sudden upsurge in his projects and that too at breakneck schedules, here is the inside talk. It is heard that Puri has chosen a lottery formula for success.
Apparently, Puri’s gameplan is to come up with 4-5 films each year. The idea is, even if one film scores a hit then he will use that and promote himself for a long period. If less number of films are churned out by him then the chances of successes are not high.
Buzz is that this formula has come to Puri from his Guruji Ram Gopal Varma. However, there are two sides to this formula. While the budgets will be in control due to such tightly planned flicks, the quality will be lost. This has happened with ‘Businessman’. Barring the projection of Mahesh Babu, the film didn’t have anything else to offer. And if one has to go for quality films, it takes time. Let us see how Puri’s formula works.
